TIEBACK WITH VELCRO OR DELUXE TIEBACK
Tiebacks are both functional and decorative elements in window treatments. Placing them higher makes the window appear larger by exposing more of it. Hanging them lower gives your curtains a more elegant and formal look.
Velcro tiebacks – These simple tiebacks are made from the same voile/translucent fabric as the curtains, ensuring a harmonious match.
Luxury tiebacks – These matching luxury tiebacks perfectly complement your curtains. Finished with piped edges, they add the final touch to your made-to-measure drapery!
Important Notice: Some voile curtains are very transparent. This means that the internal white structural pads in the tiebacks may be visible due to the translucent nature of the fabric, such as in the Smarties or Morning Flower collections.

Traditional Ironing
For curtains, traditional home ironing is common. Set your iron to a suitable temperature to remove wrinkles and restore a smooth, tidy look to the fabric, ensuring a clear and pleasant view through the window.
Heat-Setting
Heat-setting, used in industrial settings, subjects curtains to high temperatures to permanently alter the fiber structure. This advanced process ensures the fabric maintains its shape and size even after washing and repeated use, meeting modern demands for durability and easy care.
Curtains treated with heat-setting enjoy exceptional benefits: superior dimensional stability, enhanced wrinkle resistance, and long-lasting aesthetics. These qualities ensure that the curtains maintain their original appearance, contributing to the ambiance and elegance of the interior space while reducing the need for frequent maintenance.

1Measure Guide
Step 1: measure the width of the rod
Please measure the width of the rod, not the width of the window as shown in the picture (not including the decoration at both ends).
If you plan to extend the post beyond the width of the window, you will need to add some additional dimensions.
Step 2: measure the height from top to bottom
Please measure the height from the top of the pole to the floor.
* If space allows, we recommend installing the rod 4–6 inches (10–15 cm) above the window.
* If you prefer the curtains not to touch the floor for easier cleaning, please subtract 0.8 inch (2 cm) from the total height.
* If you select “Eyelets” as the heading style, the curtain height will automatically be increased by 1.2 inches (3 cm) to allow for the installation of the grommets.
2Treatment Instructions
For well-formed curtains, Sophora defaults to 2x pleat treatment, which can result in a narrower width that can actually be covered after fabric treatment. Be sure to provide accurate measurements, and if you have any questions, please contact our customer service.

How to choose the right curtain size?
Curtain Width:
Initial Measurement : Start by measuring the width of your window. The curtain rod should extend about 8 inches(20 cm) beyond each side of the window to ensure proper coverage.
Width Calculation: To achieve the desired effect, adjust curtain width according to the type:
For standard curtains: Choose a width 1.5 to 2 times the rod width.
For sheer curtains: Opt for a width 2 to 2.5 times the rod width.
Curtain height:
Rod Positioning:Install the rod at least 2 inches(5 cm) above the window frame for optimal aesthetics.
For a clean look, leave a 1 cm gap between the curtain and the floor. For a puddled look, add 2-4 inches (5–10 cm) more.

In the world of curtain making, drape and fit are crucial to both aesthetics and functionality. To ensure a perfect drape and prevent unwanted movement of curtains caused by drafts, incorporating weight blocks is a tried and tested method. These discreet elements are essential for maintaining a neat appearance.
The process of adding these blocks to the curtains involves placing them inside the bottom hem, where they remain invisible while still fulfilling their role. This step requires special attention to ensure the weight is distributed evenly, allowing the curtains to retain their shape and elegance without compromising on design.
This method illustrates the commitment to quality finishing, emphasizing the importance of details in interior design and the creation of harmonious spaces.
